u'Formed from within the Caldari nation; the Subversion Militia fought back against the imposing corporate government to try put an end to the self destructive greed of the race.

Formed by Alethe Peacechild (an assumed name to protect her family) the militia began its assault on their previous way of life.

With Peacechild’s charisma and early successes on the field and in space the following gained momentum and was soon aided by those from all races in it’s just fight.

Gallente ships troops and supplies were forth coming as they tried to aid their new friends in forming their first democracy. The Minmatar provided numerous competent warriors and their families; seeking to help with anyone they perceived under oppression. Inevitably even agents from within the Amarr came to join the fray hoping to lead the free Caldari down the path of faith and unite with them for their own purposes.

Despite Peacechild’s warnings about the influx in numbers on the tactics of the rebellion numbers grew and all too many of the other leaders were in favour of gaining any support they could. After all it was a democracy they were starting.

Eventually as she had stated the Caldari underground eventually had too much support and their guerrilla tactics became unsuitable. A new plan was needed a single all out offensive.

The plan was simple, damage the current infrastructure enough to be recognised as a genuine threat and then splinter the supportive worlds from the state and demand peace.

Peacechild had prepared numerous speeches and broadcasts ready for the final days when the Free Caldari would carve their piece of history and walk away to live lives they could enjoy. She was seated with the first position as prime minister.

The problems however came with the help that had been so generously given. The Free Caldari had become so used to the attention of other races and gifts that they had long since stopped seeing the infiltration within their own ranks. Trusting to alliance and friendship they did not see those hired by the Caldari to destroy them from within.

The plan was in fact the idea of the Caldari corps. A way to bring out all of the subverts simultaneously and leave no cell of the group hiding to rebuild. Faulty equipment was gifted and those ships that were fully functional mostly lay in the hands of the enemy.

Upon commencement of the battle those loyal to the cause were not only surprised to find their ships experiencing all manners of problems but the supposedly corporate targets had military defense.

The fact that most of their own ships were destroying themselves was lost on many of the rebels as their futile attempts at escape were thwarted time after time. Towards the end of the day however many of the remnants were not completely disheartened when the broadcast system for Peacechild was suddenly activated.

“We made a mark on this society, and have freed many thousands more like us if only in the mind. They cannot quash us like dust in the wind; we are forever. We are free.”

The explosion was somewhat distorted by the destruction of the recording equipment but all who saw those final few words hoped there was some truth in the Amarr’s belief of a rewarding afterlife if only for that one woman.

Despair was not complete as the memories of those lost would live on. Most however had considered the military days of the movement, the progress made and the freedom fighters long lost.

That was until an identical note was passed to all the heads of the mega corporations in the State. The message sent a ripple through the hierarchy and numerous failed investigations led nowhere.

“We are not gone; you shall never destroy what we started. We are back. We will come for you. We are unrelenting. You shall not deceive us and you shall not see us coming.”

Severus Warchylde
Subversion Militia'
