u'Harland & Wolff Heavy Industries

Specialising in bulk ship orders to frontier battlefields, HWHI has a long history of engineering. From its earliest days it broke records with massive cruise liners and state-of-the-art superstructures, drive systems, power generators, repair systems and remote maintenance technology.

Originally the designer and builder of White Star Line shipping, it forged ahead of the world with huge leviathons including ‘The Big Four’ – RMS Adriatic, Oceanic, Olympic and Titanic. These ships sailed across the Atlantic during the expansion of America. Other famous ships include the HMHS Britannic and HMS Glorious – a light cruiser of WWI.

H&W Heavy Industries was created by the dynamic partnership of Edward James Harland and Gustav Wolff in 1853. Their shipyards at Queens Island, Belfast, Northern Ireland produced ships for over a century adapting to the changing world. Maritime engineering went into decline and the last major liner they built was RMS Canberra in 1960. However, the company adapted to change having also being involved with aeronautical engineering since 1936. They built the Handley Page Hereford bombers, Short Stirling bombers which astonishingly used carbon-chain combustion fuels driving propellers to pull the aircraft through the air. The Short passenger aircraft was built for nearly 40 years. They also developed armaments and produced many types of tank and artillery.

As engineering technologies developed they moved into new fields. Maritime oil rigs, support vessels, repair systems, wave power generation, aeronautics. Their big leap into space came after many decades of development of surveillance and combat drones for the European battlefield. Their innovative drive systems were developed as a means to gain altitude away from SAM missiles using minimal power or weighty fuel, eventually reaching the lower boundaries of Space. The breakthough came with the first Impel systems which spawned various forms of Warp Drive and Jump Drive. Their patents meant they were at the forefront of the leap into Space and they became a major supplier for all frontier battlegrounds and all clients. This often meant masquerading under a variety of pseudonyms. But to those that know, you only need to look at the engineering to know its H&W behind the marque.

Harland and Wolff Heavy Industries are reformed under the original name to bring the very best of modern technology. Rarity of BPOs mean minor corporations can only hope to offer a narrow selection of products. H&W have formed a strong production team with many of the best designs under one roof to provide customers great choice. The venture capital system allows BPO owners to buy in to a rich array of shared production facilities. Entrepreneurs can also buy in to the corporation with an investment which allows preferential discounted building and lucrative reseller status. Both BPO owners and investors share in profits. Profits are also are re-invested into strategic purchases. If you would like to join the consortium please discuss matters with the CEO or Directors.

The trading arm of the corporation is interested in forging links with any bulk suppliers of minerals, materials and fuels. If the price is right we will buy everything you supply.'
