Technicolour Devastation<br><br>------------------------------------------------------<br><br>The Harlequins is a nomad family of gipsies, pickpockets and mercenaries working together in order to achieve whatever goal is set forth by our client. In-between performances, the Harlequins move from system to system in search of employment. Mimes, troupers and directeurs alike are all but actors on the grand stage of life playing their part in the great saga that is Eve.<br><br>You too may have a part to play oh this Grand Stage - it's just that if you cross us, you don't get to choose. <br><br>------------------------------------------------------<br>Harlequin Terminology<br><br><br>Adopted, The - Outsiders are not normally allowed into the ranks of the Harlequins. In a few special cases, though, a member of the higher circles can choose to sponsor and "adopt" an outsider into the Troupe. The actions of the adopted reflects directly on the sponsor. <br><br>Artistes - The 4th circle of pilots, the artistes are sought for their solo performances. Carrying out missions of special importance to the Troupe, they also act as guides and mentors of the younger and more inexperienced members. <br><br>Carnivale, a - A gang of pilots working towards a specified set of goals set forth by the directeur of the Troupe, be it a mining operation or military incursions into hostile space. <br><br>Codpiece 'n spandex - Protective garment and gayishly colorful suit worn by all members.<br><br>Death Jester - The 3rd circle of pilots contain our skilled pilots in search of fame and acclaim. Death Jesters often roam low sec systems in search of prey that may spread the word of their arrival on the Grand Stage. <br><br>Directeurs, The - 6th Circle warriors and leaders of the Troupe. The Directeurs decide on the time and place of performances and tours, masquerades and carnivals, as well as scheduling rehearsals for potential adoptees. <br><br>"Fandango!" - War cry of the Harlequins.<br><br>Grand Artistes - Warriors of the 5th circle, they are assasins and spies in service of the Troupe, all striving towards that grand performance that will grant them access to the next circle. <br><br>Jesters - A member of the 2nd circle of pilots, flying missions and performing tasks set by senior members in order to hone their skills as actors on the Grand Stage. <br><br>Masquerade - The infiltration of a system or an organization, carried out by select members of the Troupe. <br><br>Mime - A new member of the Troupe. Until he advances in rank to join the 1st circle, he or she has no voice and only actions count. <br><br>Rehearsal - A scheduled meeting with a potentially new member. <br><br>Trouper - A fully ranked member of the Troupe belonging to the 1st circle of pilots. Troupers act as the backbone of the Troupe, flying missions and roaming complexes in search of wealth and power.
