Literally translated to Infernal Night, Noctum Infernus is the medieval superstition of the Aurora Borealis (the Northern Lights).<br> It was believed that the lights in the sky were angels and demons fighting. Predections were foretold by the colors displayed in the sky. Blues signified the angels were winning the battle and good things were on the morrow. Green was plague or sickness.
