Royal Dutch Trade Organisation [RDTO]

The successor of the "Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie" (VoC) or the "Dutch East India Company", who ruled the ocean trade links between Europe and East Asia for a few decades in the 17th century. A very successful and profitable enterprise that managed to last and then expand into the EvE universe. Tritanium has taken over from wood in ship construction, but apart from that all trade principles remain surprisingly the same. The RDTO members go about their money making business openly and indiscriminently while standing firm against hostile activities that impact profit or economic growth. As a military aparatus is nothing but a cost centre we refrain from hostilities, unless forced upon us. Trade with us fairly and together we will enjoy boundless prosperity. The tax rate of 0% is fully in line with the constitutional principles of the RDTO, in which members co-operate, rather than belong to, a corporation.
