OVERVIEW The Sea World, a unique organization in Eve specializing in the biological and social sciences related to miners and the Cetacea they fly around in, came into being in December 2017. It is a for profit research organization whose legal status is authorized by my dad who works for Nintendo, as a foundational judicial person. The forerunner of the Sea World, Don's Dolphinarium, founded in 2014, was developed from the SASH Ministry of Culture, which was established in 2013. PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHMENT Problems surrounding Eve asteroid belts have become increasingly complex in recent years in relation to the conservation and management of rocks, as exemplified by the Tunnel Snakes' adoption of a moratorium on all commercial mining in 2017 and the Haurala Rock Sanctuary in 2018, as well as by the tightening of regulatory measures on faction harvester and other mining technology. More restrictive measures are expected to be imposed upon asteroid belts, including ice belts. The Sea World will have to respond appropriately to solve future problems in order to contribute to the proper conservation, management, and rational utilization of rocks. Thus far, independent entities such as national laboratories, universities, voluntary research institutions, and individual researchers have been studying miners and other residents of highsec. These studies, however, are closely related and must be better coordinated to contribute to the solutions required at the corporate and alliance levels, making it possible for miners to take a more active role in highsec defense militias. The Sea World is dedicated to a wide range of cetacean research and is expected to function as a center of research efforts made by independent researchers such as those described above.
