While both are integral parts of the sandbox environment, you can help protect yourself from both with basic habits. There are a few simple rules to follow in your early days and in general. We will put these in a list format.<br><br></font><font size="13" color="#ff7f7f00">1. Never undock what you cant afford to lose, every zone is a PVP zone and ships are expendable.<br>2. Always read contracts carefully and never, ever pay anyone to join a group.<br>3. Never use autopilot or AFK in space, set a destination and right click on "next system in route".<br>4. Bigger is not better, bigger ships have massively inflated skill requirements to fly effectively.<br>5.
