The Corner Shop is a luxury department store located on Jita 4/4 in the Jita system, New Eden. It is owned by an unknown entity, operating via a shell company for privacy. The Corner Shop brand also applies to other enterprises undertaken by The Corner Shop group of companies.<br><br>Recognised as one of the galaxy's leading department stores, The Corner Shop is visited by more than 12 people each day.<br><br>The store occupies a 5-acre (2 ha) site and has 330 departments covering 1.1 million sq ft (100,000 m2) of retail space within Jita 4/4. It is one of the largest and most famous department stores in the world galaxy, stocking many of New Eden's finest millinery, food, and weapon's of mass destruction.<br><br>The Corner Shop motto is 'if you can't see it on the shelf, we don't have it', which is code for "I'm currently on lunch and wish you weren't here." <br><br>Several of our departments, including the Seasonal Christmas department, apparal departments and the Food Halls, are well known.<br><br>The Corner Shop was also a founder of the International Association of EVE Online merchandisers in 2004, which is still active today, and remained a member until 2010.
