Ventriloquists in the Dark [HMMPH]

Have you ever heard of anything so ridiculous as a ventriloquism show in the dark? How would you know if the dummy was talking or the performer!<br><br>Ventriloquism is just stupid, does anybody really believe the dummy is talking? It's like a pantomine, but much much worse.<br><br>What if there isn't actually a dummy, and it's only someone sat in the dark, talking in a funny voice? Nobody would know!<br><br>Even if you get good at it (ventriloquism) it's still a terrible thing to see.<br><br>What do you call a horde of ventriloquists? Is it ventriloquii?<br><br>It's a glorified puppet show, everyone knows it's the person talking, but everyone just overlooks that. How can you suspend your disbelief? In no scenario, would a puppet speak for itself! It's just a shoddy attempt to hide it.
