u'OMNIA DISCERE [AR5]
"To learn all things"

The name is the ambition. The ticker is the subject \u2014 ars: skill, craft, art. Together: to learn all skills.

---

THE FOUNDING

The School of Applied Knowledge tests every Caldari child at eleven and files them into a function. Mine came back without a peak. Every discipline the same middling grey. The State keeps no column for someone equally suited to all of it, so it put me in records and forgot about me for nineteen years.

I founded this corporation because the State would not build me one.

Omnia Discere is not a company. It is a column. It exists so that "all of it" has somewhere to be written down.

---

THE HOLDING

A skillbook is not knowledge until it is read. A corporation is not a company until it has something worth keeping.

This one keeps books. Three hundred and forty-six of them sit in a hangar in Manifest, and most cannot yet be opened \u2014 the manual for an Amarr Carrier, and Capital Industrial Ships, held by a capsuleer who has never undocked anything heavier than a battlecruiser.

They are not aspirations. They are inventory. There are 511 skills a capsuleer may obtain, and this corporation intends to hold every one of them at the first level and no further.

---

THE ARITHMETIC

Level I of everything is 626,750 SP. A fortnight, and no challenge at all.

But no book opens until its prerequisites are met, and theirs have their own. Follow that chain to its end and 110 skills must be driven to level V purely to unlock something else.

The true cost is 96,099,565 SP. A multiplier of 153. Something under four years of continuous training, assuming perfect remaps, no interruptions, and that CCP never adds another skill. They will.

The books themselves come to roughly 53 billion ISK, and 84% of that sits in twenty of them.

---

THE LIBRARY THAT WAS NOT THERE

Sixteen skills of the Sequencing group were written off as impossible. No market in known space carried them. No loyalty store offered them. None had ever recorded a price. Four separate sweeps returned nothing, and every one of those sweeps was correct.

They are sold directly from the skill catalogue, and always were. A search of every market ever built cannot find a thing that was never listed on one.

The count went from 495 to 511 the moment somebody clicked the red book instead of shopping for it. They cost 1.47 billion ISK, and they are the most expensive lesson this corporation has bought.

---

THE FLEET

Ars longa, vita brevis \u2014 a Gnosis. The craft is long, life is short.
Canes Venatici \u2014 an Algos. The hunting dogs.
Ursa Major \u2014 a Vexor. The bear they run with, above them in the sky.
Ceres \u2014 a Pioneer. The first asteroid ever found, and the goddess of what the ground gives up.

Four hulls. Three constellations and an asteroid. A fleet with a map.

---

CHARTER

Everything is measured rather than remembered. Prerequisite closure computed across the full graph. Training rates read from the queue\'s own timings, not the attribute display. Prices compared before anything is bought. Mistakes corrected in public, because the corrections have been worth more than the successes.

Recruitment: closed. This is a library with one reader.
Progress: ongoing.
Completion: eventually.

Founded in the eighth month of YC 128 by a capsuleer who has flown since 2010 and should know better.

ARS LONGA, VITA BREVIS'
