<font size="16" color="#bfffffff"></font><font size="16" color="#ff00ff00"><b>INDEPENDENT SELF-SUFFICIENCY CHALLENGE</b><br><br></font><font size="16" color="#bfffffff">CORE RULE<br>Everything our group uses must be earned, gathered, built, or obtained through our own gameplay.<br><br>GROUP<br><br>* Friends participating in the challenge may cooperate.<br>* Shared resources between challenge members are ALLOWED.<br>* Members may trade with, give to, or provide services for other challenge members.<br>* No outside players may materially supply the group.<br>* No outside alts may supply resources.<br><br>ECONOMY<br><br>* Earn ISK through our own gameplay.<br>* Selling our own resources/items to anyone is ALLOWED.<br>* Trading and purchasing between challenge members is ALLOWED.<br>* Do not buy from the external market anything we can reasonably gather or build ourselves.<br>* External market purchases are allowed only when an item is impossible or unreasonably difficult for the group to obtain.<br>* NPC purchases are ALLOWED.<br><br>RESOURCES<br><br>* Mine our own ore.<br>* Salvage and loot our own wrecks.<br>* Produce our own PI.<br>* Manufacture items whenever reasonably practical.<br>* Do not buy resources we can reasonably obtain ourselves.<br><br>INFRASTRUCTURE<br><br>* NPC facilities: ALLOWED<br>* Structures owned and maintained by challenge members: ALLOWED<br>* Other players' structures: NOT ALLOWED<br>* Public player structures: NOT ALLOWED<br>* EVE University structures: NOT ALLOWED<br><br>SERVICES<br><br>* Challenge members may provide services to each other.<br>* Internal hauling, refining, manufacturing, research, exploration, etc.: ALLOWED.<br>* Outside player-provided services: NOT ALLOWED.<br>* No external hauling, manufacturing, refining, research, or similar services.<br><br>REWARDS<br>Anything earned directly through our own gameplay is legitimate:<br><br>* AIR Career rewards<br>* Mission rewards<br>* LP/faction rewards<br>* NPC loot<br>* Exploration loot<br>* Salvage<br>* Bounties<br>* Storyline/faction rewards<br><br>PLAYER INTERACTION<br><br>* Socializing, joining corporations, asking for advice, classes and guides: ALLOWED.<br>* PvP, fleets and cooperative gameplay: ALLOWED.<br>* Trading and services between challenge members: ALLOWED.<br>* Receiving resources from outside the challenge: NOT ALLOWED.<br>* Selling our own goods to outside players: ALLOWED.<br><br>SKILLS<br><br>* Normal skill training: ALLOWED.<br>* NPC skillbooks: ALLOWED.<br>* Buy &amp; Inject skillbooks using challenge-earned ISK: ALLOWED.<br>* Skillbooks bought from the player market using challenge-earned ISK: ALLOWED.<br>* Skill injectors purchased with challenge-earned ISK: ALLOWED.<br>* Skillbooks/injectors obtained from outside the challenge: NOT ALLOWED.<br>* PLEX/real-money purchases used for ISK or skill progression: NOT ALLOWED.<br><br>SHIPS &amp; DEATH<br><br>* Lost ships/items are gone.<br>* Replacements must be acquired under these rules.<br>* Insurance is allowed.<br>* Deliberate insurance abuse is NOT allowed.<br><br>REAL MONEY<br><br>* Paying for Omega: ALLOWED.<br>* Buying PLEX with real money to generate ISK/resources: NOT ALLOWED.<br>* Any outside purchase that directly provides in-game resources or progression: NOT ALLOWED.<br><br>GOLDEN RULE<br>If the challenge group can reasonably obtain or produce something ourselves, we must do so instead of buying it from outside the group.<br><br><b>We are self-sufficient as a group, not isolated from the EVE universe.</b></font>
